More than 3,000 of you have responded to the participant survey following SkiBirken 2026. Thank you very much – your feedback is essential for helping us improve.

At the same time, it is clear that parts of what we delivered were not good enough. We hear you, and we take your feedback seriously.

Many of you have reacted to the start procedure. The change made close to the start, due to the conditions, resulted in an experience that was not good enough – especially for those of you who had earned a place in a specific starting group. It will not be like this next year. You can read more about the background for the change here.

Strong winds and rain leading up to the event created major challenges for our setup and planning, and resulted in difficult conditions in the start area. We did not handle this well enough.

We also already see that there are several areas that need improvement. Without going into detail – we will return to that – this particularly concerns:

• Shuttle buses and transport to the start
• Logistics related to toilets
• Signage and arena maps
• Participant information

We have now started a thorough evaluation process and will return with concrete measures as we work towards 2027.
